Submission guidelines

Please read carefully these indications before submitting an app for review. Apps that do not respect the guidelines indicated below will not qualify to join the network. Please make sure you understand what this website is about before submitting an app.

Note that you will NOT be asked to send us the binary of your app. We only need a coupon code so that we can download your app directly from the App Store.

Checklist

1. Make sure your app is fully functional and has been widely tested. Do NOT send beta versions of your app.
2. Make sure your app is on available for sale in the United States App Store.
3. Read the IAA Requirements and if you have the feeling that your app could not pass the review, please spend some more time polishing it. Note that you DO NOT have to incorporate the IAA Logos and the IAA network at this time. The IAA Logos and IAA Network must be added in within 1 month from the time the app passes the review. Check the Artwork page for official logos and videos. Note that if your app DOES NOT pass the review you DO NOT have the permission to include the IAA Logos in your app.
4. Prepare a video that shows how your app works or a short teaser trailer and publish it on youtube. This step is not required but strongly recommended.

Agreement

By submitting your app for review, you pledge to fulfill all the necessary steps to conform your app(s) to the IAA Requirements. You understand that the staff of Indie Apps Alliance reserves the right to decide at his own discretion whether an app is elegible to be part of the network or not. You also understand that the staff can exclude you and your app(s) from the network and the Alliance at any time. The IAA Network is a system that allows developers to advertise each other. Every app admitted into the network is required to incorporate the IAA Network API and failure to implement it will lead to the expulsion of the member from the Alliance. The IAA Network is authorized to send to all the other apps part of the network information about other apps and developers part of the alliance. The IP addresses of every request to the IAA network will be recorded and used to prevent any attempt to cheat the system. You may close your account and have all of your app(s) deleted from the network at any time. You must remove all IAA Logos and the IAA Network API from your app(s) prior to ask the staff to terminate your account.
